Living Rooms

Mixing Old and New

Project details

A Max Hugo repeat client wanted to bring their beloved living room new life by repurposing family pieces while adding in some new furniture and decor. The teal herringbone Duralee sofa adds color while the two family chairs were reupholstered into a neutral geometric print. The modern rug offers a fresh look with teals, greens, and golds that tie together nicely with stunning, two-story, stationary pleated draperies. Walls now feature custom-designed Tableaux decorative grills that connect the wood tones throughout the room and a subtle tone-on-tone Thibaut wallpaper within the picture molding on the opposing wall. An Uttermost rolling glass and brass bar cart floats from the dining to the living room for easy entertaining.
