The Loftin Residence- Master Bathroom Transformation

At Max Hugo Interior Design, we believe a master suite should balance everyday function with high-end, architectural luxury. For the Loftin Residence bathroom renovation, our goal was to dismantle a dated, dark layout and replace it with a bright, custom sanctuary defined by clean symmetry, rich materiality, and tailored craftsmanship.

Design Strategy & Key Features:

Custom Double Vanity & Mirror Realignment: To maximize the room’s architecture, we painted and refreshed the existing cabinetry structure, completely transforming its profile. The single, builder-grade mirror was replaced with an artfully balanced layout featuring two custom geometric mirrors flanked by updated, polished lighting fixtures. The result is a symmetrical focal point that highlights both the cabinetry scale and the premium quartz countertops.
The Ultimate Luxury Freestanding Tub: Serving as a prominent statement of relaxation, a deep, freestanding soaking tub was introduced below the window. Paired with a sleek, floor-mounted filler hardware system, this zone anchors the dry area of the bathroom in pure, sculptural elegance.
Frameless Glass Walk-In Shower: We completely removed the original one-piece shower unit to design a spacious, custom tile shower from the ground up. Enclosed in seamless, frameless glass, it showcases high-performance plumbing fixtures and precision tile work.
Artisanal Tile & Craftsmanship Details: The walk-in shower features a timeless white tile layout punctuated by a soft blue mosaic accent band that runs seamlessly into a double-tiered recessed shower niche. The shower floor is finished in a beautifully textured pebble tile, adding organic movement and an upscale, sensory experience underfoot.
A Curated Material & Color Palette: Moving away from heavy contrast, the palette relies on a serene, custom soft blue on the walls to balance the bright white cabinetry. Natural textures—including woven wood baskets, organic wood accents, and warm linen textiles—were layered in strategically to create an inviting modern feel that feels both luxurious and entirely livable.
